Matrescence — the developmental transition into motherhood — is as profound as adolescence, and almost no one prepares you for it. Postpartum therapy holds space for the grief, joy, rage, anxiety, and identity shifts that come with becoming a mother, whether your baby is six weeks or six years old.
What postpartum therapy can address
- Postpartum anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts
- Postpartum rage and irritability
- Birth trauma and difficult postpartum experiences
- Identity loss and the grief of who you were before
- Relationship shifts with your partner, family, and friends
- Returning to work, weaning, or navigating a second (or third) baby
How sessions work
Telehealth means you can join from your couch while baby naps. Sessions are 50–60 minutes, fully confidential, and tailored to where you are — not where you 'should' be. We use perinatal-informed approaches grounded in attachment theory, somatic regulation, and matrescence research.
You don't have to be in crisis to come
Many moms wait until they're drowning. You don't have to. If something feels off, that's enough.
