FAQ

Online therapy FAQ — for women in NYC, New York & New Jersey.

Do you offer virtual therapy?+

Yes — all sessions are 100% telehealth via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. No commute, no waiting room, just connection from wherever you feel safe.

What states do you serve?+

I'm licensed in New York and New Jersey. To work with me, you must be physically located in one of these states during our sessions.

How long are sessions?+

The initial intake is 60 minutes. Ongoing individual sessions are 50–60 minutes.

Do you accept insurance?+

Yes. I'm in-network with many major insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oxford, Oscar, United, Empire BCBS, and others. Out-of-network benefits may also apply — see the Fees & Insurance page for the full list.

What is your therapy style?+

Warm, collaborative, and grounded. I integrate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic, and relational approaches — tailored to what you need that day.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?+

If you're tired of carrying it all alone, want tools that actually work, or feel disconnected from yourself — therapy can help. The free 15-minute consultation is a low-pressure way to see if we're a fit.

What can I expect during the first session?+

We'll talk about what's bringing you in, your history, and what you'd like to feel different. You'll leave with a sense of direction and a plan for next steps.

Do you work with postpartum clients?+

Yes. Supporting women through postpartum, matrescence, and the early years of motherhood is one of my specialties.

How often should I attend therapy?+

Most clients begin weekly or biweekly. We'll find the cadence that supports real momentum without overwhelm.
